Rooted through Nature
Think. Feel. Homeschool.

Red Maple Program
This program is specifically designed for learners who are just beginning to sprout into a group setting or classroom environment. Red Maple is structured to help enhance and build early literacy skills, focusing on basic math or specific math topics, handwriting/spelling, reading, and sentence structure. We use Heggerty to assess and accomplish these goals. Our teaching methods are hands-on, ensuring that sight words, letter recognition, alphabet instruction, and phonemic awareness are effectively taught. We also incorporate life science as a program for diverse instruction. Red Maple has a strong reading, writing, ELA, and mathematical aspect through play-based strategies.

White Oak Program
This program is designed for learners to explore the world through Nature and hands-on STEAM education—Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics—centered around their unique interests. Students will engage in project-based learning, connecting with real-world problems and gaining insight into potential career paths. They will dive into core subjects such as English, Math, History, Science, and Language Arts, while also enjoying extracurriculars like Culinary Arts, Woodworking, Gardening, Sports, and more, tailored to their passions. We also incorporate life science as a program for diverse instruction.

Each aspect will be individualized to each student's education by building off or enhancing their skills. This means that your child will receive personalized attention and instruction, ensuring that they are challenged at an appropriate level and can progress at their own pace.

American Elm Program
Our Homeschool Leadership Program is designed for teens ages 14 to 17, offering a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills through hands-on experience, similar to a Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program. Teens will work alongside younger children, gaining valuable skills in behavior management, team-building, communication, activity leadership, and more.
Throughout the program, participants will assist, teach, and lead activities, plan and facilitate events or field trips, and create memorable experiences—all while building strong relationships with peers. Under the guidance and supervision of our program directors, teens will have the chance to grow as leaders and role models in a supportive environment.
We also encourage self-directed studies, allowing participants to explore and pursue their own interests while honing their leadership abilities.

We also believe that financial barriers should never stand in the way of accessing a quality, supportive, and natural learning environment. That’s why we strive to keep our costs as low as possible. Our enrollment fees, along with everything they include, are the most affordable you’ll find for a program of this caliber. We know there may be reasons you haven’t started yet, and we would love to chat with you to see if we can help overcome any concerns—so hopefully, cost won’t be one of them!
